A six-week course that pairs directors and actors with the purpose of getting them to most efficiently communicate with one another. Directors pick a scene and work through the rehearsal process with the actors.

In this six-week class actors read and discuss poems, then are given writing prompts so that they can write their own, with the goal of deepening the actor’s instinctual and very personal relationship with language in a market that increasingly demands they be writers as well as actors.
